Freedom is highly valued: In society, in business and private life. Still we're constantly confronted with limitations in life and it's hardly possible to evade the finding that we as humans are subject to incredibly numerous bounds. Pushing the limits of what is possible or thinkable should not be subdued by this evident realization. Too many blessing were brought to life by people dedicated to push existing boundaries. Still, since the beginning of time mystics of all cultures are pointing to a pathway to freedom inside of ourselves. But it seemed obscure and possibly treacherous. Impossible to foresee what it brings. With the Inner Journeys there lies a relaxing, bright as day road ahead, even to destinations as intangible as the Absolute. On my inner journey I followed the course of my feelings and inner images. At first I was quite irritated: How's that possible? I'm lying comfortably in my favorite armchair and one minute shivers of anxiety run down my spine, a minute later my body becomes leaden. Shortly after that my heart fills up with a feeling of tenderness and thereafter anxiety returns now lurking in my legs. Astounding phenomena of the like went on for a while. what was this supposed to be good for? Then, after my bafflement also had gotten its rightful place, complete silence occurred and made way for what - in good sense - fully blew my mind. It seemed as if everything faded into the background making way for a vast and endless space. And for a few timeless moments there was nothing but eternal space filled with an incredible, buzzing energy. This space is with me since then and whenever I feel the need to bathe in its energy and eternity, I simply put my attention in its direction. |
